Pastors Fellowship Ministry in Andhra Pradesh

Equipping Faithful Servants for the Work of Ministry

By the grace of God, Pastor P. Vijay Rathnam faithfully organizes a monthly Pastors Fellowship in Andhra Pradesh, bringing together approximately 40 pastors and evangelists who serve primarily in rural and tribal communities.

Many of these pastors are lay ministers who have never had the opportunity to attend a Bible college or receive formal theological training. Yet they have responded to God's call and are faithfully serving their communities—preaching the Gospel, establishing churches, discipling believers, praying for people, and caring for those entrusted to them.

The Apostle Paul reminds us of the importance of equipping God's people for ministry:

“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry.”
— Ephesians 4:11–12

This is at the heart of the Pastors Fellowship: to provide biblical teaching, encouragement, fellowship, prayer, and practical ministry training so that faithful servants can become better equipped for the work God has called them to do.

Monthly Fellowship and Support

Each month, Pastor Vijay Rathnam gathers approximately 40 pastors and evangelists for a time of fellowship, biblical teaching, prayer, encouragement, and mutual support.

Because many of these ministers travel from rural and tribal areas and have limited financial resources, the ministry seeks to provide food and travel assistance to help them participate in the fellowship.

The monthly gathering provides an opportunity for pastors to:

• Study and understand God's Word more deeply.

• Receive biblical and practical ministry training.

• Encourage and strengthen one another.

• Share experiences and challenges from the mission field.

• Pray together for their churches and communities.

• Learn from one another and grow in ministry.

• Become better equipped to reach rural and tribal villages with the Gospel.

Scripture reminds us of the importance of fellowship and encouragement:

“And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works.”
— Hebrews 10:24–25

An Opportunity for Biblical Training

We especially invite pastors, Bible teachers, missionaries, and ministry leaders to prayerfully consider becoming involved in this fellowship by teaching these ministers online through Zoom.

For many of these pastors, consistent biblical instruction may be a significant opportunity for spiritual and theological growth. Through online teaching, you can help strengthen their understanding of Scripture and equip them to faithfully teach and disciple others.

Paul's instruction to Timothy remains a powerful challenge for every servant of God:

“Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.”
— 2 Timothy 4:2

Your teaching can have an impact that extends far beyond the fellowship itself. By investing in these pastors and evangelists, you are also investing in the churches, disciples, families, villages, and communities they serve.
